A painted sawblade for a loaf of homemeade bread

Would you trade a painted sawblade for a loaf of homemade bread?  I would.  To thank Barry and Jean for our trip to Pennsylvania in October, I painted one of the covered bridges on a round saw blade.  This afternoon Wayford and I took it over to them.  I think we had been smelling the bread all the way to Silver Birch Crescent.  Boy, did we pick the right time to visit them.

We've taken one more step up on the tech scene.  We got a PVR to enhance our TV viewing.  Not a HD but a standard one.  No need for HDPVR if we don't have HDTV is there?  Are we Tech savvy enough to figure out this new remote?

Happy New Year!

We have started our New Year off by watching the Rose Bowl parade and then having a wonderful buffet meal at the Mandarin Restaurant.  No black eyed peas for us!.  Linda and Marcia invited us to join them for lunch there today.  Now for some football viewing!

A very relaxing way to begin the new year.
