You know when you go to the dentist and he had deadened one side of your mouth and then he tells you to rinse, and when you try to spit disaster happens. Well, with Bells's Palsy everyday is like that. When Wayford brushed his teeth this morning he excitedly exclaimed, I could spit just a little with both sides of my mouth! Hallelujah!! Thank God for healing, and for spitting out of both sides of your mouth. The neurologist says the nerve heals one millimeter (however much that is, I just know it is not much) a day. If his face isn't too big, by the time he is 80 it should be completely healed!
